Terreïs' ambition is to actively develop its portfolio of commercial
properties and small and medium-sized office premises with a focus on central
locations in major French cities.
This is a niche market in which the major real estate groups have little or
no involvement. We have the ability to address this market in a methodical and
systematic way, thanks to our considerable knowledge of the fabric of local
real estate markets throughout France .
Terreïs is now completely independent of the Foncia Group, of which it
was previously a wholly-owned subsidiary. However, the two companies have maintained
strong links:
- Terreïs will draw on Foncia's widely-recognised expertise in real
estate management for the management of its assets;
- In addition, Terreïs, which already owns the properties housing more
than sixty Foncia branches, will benefit from the expansion of the Foncia branch
network and from the pool of commercial leases in which Terreïs expects
to find acquisition opportunities that meet its strategic criteria.
The market listing of Terreïs is intended to give it the resources to
back its expansion in this market which is rich in opportunities for profitable
growth provided this is backed by a solid knowledge of the field and a swift
decision-making process.
